Calendar Full of Love
A few years ago, I thought of the perfect Christmas gift for my baby girl (ahem, I mean soon-to-be-college-graduate): a calendar. But not just any calendar; a calendar featuring pictures of our very own chickens, and of course, made with a heart full of love.
It was a stretch for this photographically challenged woman. Yet I pressed on, borrowing Georgia’s camera with the excuse that I wanted to learn to take better pictures.
After frantically shooting and editing several photos, I put together what I thought would be my girl’s dream wall calendar.
I was so sure I’d stumbled onto a good idea, I ordered one for all four of us.
Good thing I did because we all loved them!
I hung mine here at the house. Joe took his to the group home where he lived. Brian took his and hung it in his office at work.
And Georgia . . . took hers to her dorm room . . . while making me promise to make a calendar every year from then on!
Friends and family noticed our calendars and began requesting them as well. So this year, I’ve decided to make them available for sale here on my website.
I’ll confess, you can buy cheaper calendars, since this one is customized and pretty much a print-on-demand kind of thing. But because enough people have asked, I present to you the Red Rhode Farm 2013 Calendar!
